School lunches are paid for weekly on Monday morning and from September 2023 cost £2.40 per day £12.00 per week. Our preferred method of payment is online via School Gateway, however please ensure you have notified the office that your child requires a dinner otherwise they wIll not be catered for.

 If your child is eligible for free school meals please ensure that you take up this entitlement using this link - http://coventry.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals.  

 Families in receipt of Income Support or Income based Job Seekers allowance are entitled to free meals for their children. If you are unsure of how to claim your entitlement, please see the school office as soon as possible.

We advise you to claim your free meals even if you decide to send your child with a packed lunch from home or take him/her home for dinner. Part of every school's budget share depends on the uptake of free meals. By claiming your entitlement you ensure that the school is financed as well as possible.

If for any reason (religious or medical) your child requires a special diet, please let us know in writing and we will do our best to see that these requirements are met. There is always a vegetarian option.

Children may bring a packed lunch from home although this should not include a fizzy drink or sweets/chocolate coated foods. All containers should be clearly named. We do not have refrigerated storage for packed lunches and parents will need to bear this in mind when preparing the lunch. Uneaten food will be returned to parents to monitor consumption.

Members of the Meals Supervisory Team help children who have difficulty with their school meal or their packed lunch. Should there be persistent difficulties these will be discussed with you.
